My mother-in-law is there for her second year. She enjoys the other people and they are her friends. The staff are very friendly and treat her well. She has a little dog which everyone loves. The courtyard is especially helpful for her dog but is a lovely place for residents in warm weather. We are grateful for the peace of mind knowing she is safe, fed, has her medication and is happy. I have worked at Rittenhouse Village at Northside in our Memory Care neighborhood for 4 years. The community is my home away from home. The residents inspire me and make each day I spend interacting with them a blessing. I am so proud to be part of such a great team!

Rittenhouse was welcoming to my father who is still able to have most of his independence but needed daily check-in's and help making sure he took his medication. The range of assistance combined with the help of the kind staff has helped my father adjust well to his new home. His apartment allows him privacy that he was seeking. Getting together for meals and walking more has provided socialization and exercise that he was needing.

I love all the welcoming staff and residents! It makes it easy to come into work every day.As a new employee, it is important to me to have a supportive team and that’s what I have seen. The residents are such a joy to work with and are patient with me as I adapt to the community. I love working here!

Discovery owned building. I have been here 11 months. I appreciate the longevity of staff and their commitment to serve residents. Staff development practices implemented. Very welcoming families and residents. Executive director has been in place 10 months and implemented several programs for residents.

Rittenhouse is a facility that was recommended to us by a ‘navigator’ we worked with, when we realized that our mother could no longer live on her own—We have been VERY pleased with the decision to choose Rittenhouse, ever since. …The friendly, helpful staff, the home-like atmosphere, and the new friends our mother has made during the ongoing activities at the facility has made what was a very difficult choice, much easier and comfortable to live with, as we know she is in ‘good hands’ at all times. Friends and relatives who have visited Mom, have also commented on how well the facility seems to fit her needs(!).

There may be fancier facilities elsewhere in Indianapolis, but we picked Rittenhouse because they treat their residents like family. When we toured Rittenhouse, we saw staff everywhere interacting with people. Except for memory care, people aren't segregated by level of care like in other facilities. Because Mom was terminally ill, the administration did everything they could to accommodate her including coming to see her when she was still in care elsewhere, providing her a room with a beautiful view on short notice, welcoming a new hospice service that they didn't know, and developing a coordinate care plan between their staff, the hospice, and our family. Mom's last days were spent in the very best of care. Rittenhouse was a blessing to all us!

My sister is very happy at Rittenhouse. The staff takes good care of her. The only reason I don't give five stars is due to the problems with billing. These problems are always resolved, but there seems to be some confusion. Other than that, the care for my sister has been wonderful. She really enjoys the art activities, Bible studies, and lunches outside the facility with other Rittenhouse residents. My sister is happy, and her small apartment is nice.
